For the first time since 2019, the Ram 1500 received a facelift for the 2025 model year, bringing it into the present day with modern features. The grille of the 2025 Ram 1500 is upgraded with new textures, designs, and patterns and is tilted forward, amplifying the truck's distinguishable heroic stance. The headlights are slightly redesigned to match the more modern and aggressive appearance of the new Ram 1500. The exterior is available with a vast array of wheel options ranging from 18 to 22 inches with varying designs and colors. Getting inside, you'll be greeted by an all-new interior featuring new colors, textures, and premium materials. New design elements are sprinkled throughout the lineup, so you'll find a unique design depending on which trim level you choose. For example, the Laramie trim makes Bison Brown and Sea Salt Gray accent trim color options available. Meanwhile, the trim inside the Big Horn has new laser-etched accents on the dash, center console, and doors, along with Gear Embossed seat inserts with Diesel Gray or Black color options. Ram introduced a new member to the Ram 1500 lineup for 2025, creating the most luxurious truck ever. While that was previously said about the Ram 1500 Limited, the all-new Tungsten takes it to breathtaking heights! Just a few of its features include an exclusive grille design, premium LED lighting, 22-inch alloy wheels, a metal pedal kit, a 23-speaker Klipsch sound system, dual wireless smartphone charging pads, and Natural Plus leather upholstery with a quilted pattern. The Tungsten's front seats are heated, ventilated, massaging, and 24-way power-adjustable with memory settings. 

The design of the Ram 1500 wasn't the only thing upgraded for 2025. The engine lineup was updated too! Standard equipment is still the 3.6L V6 that Ram has trusted for years, boasting 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. However, that is where the similarities to the current generation come to an end. All-new for 2025 is the 3.0L twin-turbocharged straight six-cylinder engine. While boasting a hefty 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque, the new engine provides enhanced fuel efficiency compared to its larger-engined competitors due to its smaller engine displacement. Plus, the two turbochargers mounted to the engine provide more power than the current naturally-aspirated V8 engine. This same engine is available in a high-output variant that Ram tuned for 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. Lastly, Ram introduces the brand's first-ever plug-in hybrid Ram 1500, which we're excited to share with you below!

All new for 2025 is the Ram 1500 Ramcharger! This is the first vehicle from Ram to incorporate electric power. As a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle, the Ramcharger features a 3.6L V6 engine with an onboard electric generator, a 130-kilowatt electric drive module (EDM) mounted to the front axle, and a 238-kilowatt rear axle-mounted EDM. The process of powering the Ramcharger's wheels is slightly different than most PHEVs, as there is no mechanical linkage between the V6 engine and the EDMs on either axle. The mechanical power is first sent to the onboard 130-kilowatt-hour generator which then converts it into electrical energy and delivers it to the wheels. However, this power can serve other functions as well. At the discretion of the driver, power from the V6 engine can be sent to the 92-kilowatt battery by the generator to recharge it on the go. To save battery power, however, the driver can choose the opposite and power the EDMs with the V6 engine through the generator. Finally, the EDMs can be powered by both the battery pack and V6 engine to achieve maximum performance. To maximize driving range, the Ramcharger features a front wheel-end disconnect to disengage power to the front wheels when driving conditions are ideal, such as on smooth, dry pavement. However, having an EDM on both axles provides drivers with all-wheel drive traction when road conditions become more questionable. With the Ramcharger's hybrid powertrain, drivers enjoy up to 663 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque. This provides a class-leading maximum towing capacity of 14,000 pounds, a 4.4-second 0-60 time, and a payload capacity of up to 2,625 pounds!
